Founded in Istanbul in 2012 with the participation of 16 legal and real persons, the “Association of Azerbaijani Business People in Turkey” (TAIB) aims to bring together Azerbaijani or Azerbaijani-origin business people operating in the Republic of Turkey under one roof, ensuring their acquaintance and solidarity, providing them with general information about the economic environment in Turkey, developing cooperation in commercial, economic and technical fields, facilitating mutual exchange of ideas and information, encouraging new investments, supporting the healthy and effective conduct of its members’ relations with relevant private and official institutions, and contributing to economic, social and cultural development.

With the mission of being one of the cornerstones of the indivisible brotherhood bridge between the two countries by contributing to the development and strengthening of the economies of Azerbaijan and Turkey, TAIB supports and develops economic and social solidarity among its members, provides legal, technical and other necessary support for their successful activities in Turkey and internationally, and carries out activities to contribute to the solution of common problems. The Association organizes meetings, seminars and conferences with Azerbaijani business people to achieve this goal. In addition, the Association also carries out joint organizations by cooperating with other associations and unions.

By the decision of the Extraordinary General Assembly held on April 13, 2023, the name “Association of Azerbaijani Businessmen in Turkey” was changed to “Association of Azerbaijani Business People in Turkey”.

The Chairman of TAIB Board of Directors is Elshan Guliyev, and the Vice Chairmen are Nurlan Yusifov and Ural Aküzüm.
