TAİB Convenes with Members to Define Its New-Term Roadmap

The Association of Azerbaijani Businesspeople in Türkiye (TAİB), which aims to further strengthen the deep-rooted bonds of friendship between Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the economic sphere, held its first Member Council meeting of the new term.

At the meeting held at Kaşıbeyaz Restaurant in Vadi Istanbul, the association’s activities for the upcoming period were discussed and its strategic roadmap was reviewed.

TAİB President Dr. Asıf Kurban, who delivered the opening speech, thanked all members who attended. Sharing important messages regarding the strategy to be pursued in the new term, Kurban stated:

“As TAİB, our goal is not merely to bring businesspeople of Azerbaijani origin together under one roof. Our main objective is to build strong commercial networks among our members, strengthen solidarity and institutional cooperation, create new investment and partnership opportunities, and establish an effective structure that produces solutions to the needs of the business world.

In addition, developing projects that will contribute to the further advancement of economic relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, building lasting bridges between the business communities of the two brotherly countries, and supporting a shared vision of development are among TAİB’s core priorities. In line with this understanding, we will continue, with determination, to carry out work that adds value to our members.”

Problems of the Business Community and Proposed Solutions Were Discussed

During the meeting, association members took the floor one by one and shared their opinions and proposals regarding the projects that should be implemented in the new term, the problems encountered, and possible solutions. Members emphasized the importance of acting with a common voice and expanding commercial cooperation.

Investment Loans and the Banking Sector Were Discussed

TAİB member and Pasha Bank Türkiye Deputy General Manager Farid Aliyev, who attended the meeting, addressed financial processes that closely concern the business world. While informing participants about the current state of the banking sector, Aliyev delivered a detailed presentation on investment loans and financing opportunities provided to businesspeople.
