Following the Elective Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Türkiye–Azerbaijan Businesspeople Association (TAİB) for the 2026–2029 term, held on April 29, 2026, the newly elected Board of Directors held its first meeting.

During the meeting, the distribution of duties among the members of the Board of Directors was determined, establishing the Association’s new management structure for the upcoming term. As a result of the duty distribution, Dr. Asıf Kurban was elected as the Chairman of the TAİB Board of Directors.

The duty distribution for the 2026–2029 term was determined as follows:

Chair of the Digitalization and Business Development Commission: Elshan Guliyev

In the new term, TAİB’s management will continue its efforts to strengthen solidarity among members, increase the Association’s institutional impact, develop digitalization initiatives, and contribute more strongly to economic cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
